Many movie fans came on Sunday
April 4, 2010
to view the new movie by
Producer/Director Raynald Delerme,
"DYAB BABA".






The evening started with a stand-up comedy
by Jean-Claude Joseph (Papa Pyè), one of Haiti's best comedian and actor.

Papa Pyè is the famous main character in the popular television sitcom
"La Vi Nan Bouk", (Life on the Farm), back in the 80s at the
National Television of Haiti.

Jean Claude Joseph is also one of the lead characters in the movie
"Dyab Baba".
The comedy show was followed by the projection of the movie
which got repeated applauses and laughters from the audience
from begining to end.

Haitian Movie Nights kicked off well at Little Haiti Cultural Center.

Hello from Paris.

I am so happy to be part of the making of history in the Haitian movie industry.

For the first time, a Haitian movie will play in a regular movie theater, L'Archipel, right in the center of Paris.

Plus, this is not a one-time event, the Haitian American Association of Filmmakers has partnered with Grenadier P.A.M. entertainment to bring Haitian films to Paris on a regular basis, starting now with 2 week-ends a month.

We are expecting a sold-out show and I will keep you informed on how things go.

DYAB BABA Premieres in Paris

The HAITIAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF FILMMAKERS (The HAAF) is proud to announce the launching of CINEMA LAKAY in Paris with the Grand Premiere of the new Film by Raynald Delerme "DYAB BABA".

Cinema lakay is a new venue where the HAAF has partnered with Greandier PAM Entertainment to bring the best Haitian movies to Paris on a regular basis, 4 times a month. The HAAF is only open to Haitian-American cinema Producers and/or Directors.

There are strick rules for being a member of the HAAF for the HAAF wishes to promote only the best Haitian films. "DYAB BABA" will play again in Paris on March 20 and 21, 2010.
